Style of The Week: The Randy T!
Its time for a new Style of The Week! This week is the Randy T! I had so much fun playing with this top today. Did you know that Randy is designed to be unisex? It has a more narrow fit than any of the other LuLaRoe tops, which for some people thats exactly what they need! I must admit though, I usually just wear my Randys as layering pieces in the cooler months. I like that they’re still long enough to give me coverage with leggings when I layer with other garments… usually that other garment is a flannel.
So jumping into our sizing guide, here I am wearing four different sizes! The first large I put on was definitely too small. Each style LuLaRoe makes comes in multiple fabrics, this Large here feels like an amazing t-shirt, and the first one I put on was a slinkier poly fabric. Moral of the story, ask questions when you’re shopping online! The XL is my true size, and the Randys I have in my closet are XLs. I feel like its a great length and not too loose in my shoulders.
I like the length and the way the body fit in the 2XL but I feel like in this top, on me it gets a little loose in the shoulders. Honestly through the body of the shirt the large, XL, and 2XL felt very similar, but the shoulders as you can see in the pictures got progressively looser, but the shirts also got progressively longer. The 3XL was noticeably looser in the body. I have tried others that fit a little differently due to the fabric they were made from–but I feel like this is a pretty safe generalization as far as sizing goes.
My husband was gracious enough to model this 2XL Randy for me! This is TOTALLY a unisex top, and so many of the color combinations are gender neutral. He normally wears a large in men’s shirts and is 5’9″ for reference. After our photo shoot he told me it was quite comfortable!
Lets talk styling! I will say that I felt more comfortable in this top tying it up! I love the way it looks with these Madisons! (Black/white Randy size large, blue/coral Randy size 2xl, both madison’s size large)
And then I did this! So I’ve said before I don’t usually wear dresses…I DO love the Carly, but I’ve never really felt comfortable in the Nicole, it felt too girly to me–I LOVE the way it looks, but just never felt like me until I put a Randy over it. (XL Randy with a 2XL Nicole)
Then I JUST HAD to try the red one on too! (Size large Randy with a 2XL Nicole)
Lets not forget how great the Randy looks with jeans! (3XL Randy with my favorite Mimi) The last picture is just for fun! And a reminder to myself to never take anything too seriously!
I hope you all go play around with some fun styling for your Randy T’s and that my sizing guide was helpful! And please join my group to share some fun pictures of how you like to style your Randy!
